HOUSTON-
(April 6, 2006)- Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. [NASDAQ:RICK], today reported nightclub sales in March 2006 of $2,121,370, the highest monthly revenue level in the history of the national chain of gentlemen's nightclubs. March was the second consecutive month in which nightclub revenues exceeded $2 million, exceeding last year's March sales of $1,213,086 by 74.9 percent.

Monthly same-club sales increased 27.3 percent to $1,544,448 from $1,213,086 in the previous year.

The company's total nightclub revenues for the second fiscal quarter were $5,907,050 compared with $3,251,778 in the previous year.

"Breaking the two million level in March was a great accomplishment and was due in large part to the continued strong growth of our flagship New York City nightclub, where sales were up 35 percent from February," said Eric Langan, President and CEO of Rick's Cabaret. "All of our clubs are benefiting from customer loyalty and increased marketing programs that are aimed at building the Rick's Cabaret brand name nationally," he added.
