Rick's Cabaret Sets "Sneak Peek" Opening of its New York City Club for September 9th with Grand Opening Scheduled September 21st

NEW YORK CITY--(September 8, 2005)-- Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. [RICK:NASDAQ] said today it would open its posh new adult nightclub (at 50 West 33rd Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue) in Midtown Manhattan on Friday September 9th at 4 pm for a “sneak peek” preview.

Rick’s Cabaret-NYC will remain open in the preview mode from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. until September 20th, and then will have an extended four-day grand opening from September 21st through September 24th. The luxurious new three-story gentlemen’s club is one of 10 upscale adult nightclubs operated by the Houston-based company. (The Rick’s Cabaret in New Orleans, now closed due to Hurricane Katrina, is operated under an exclusive license arrangement.)

“Our extensive renovation has been completed and we plan a ‘soft launch’ for the first couple of weeks as a build up to the grand opening,” said Eric Langan, CEO of Rick’s Cabaret. ”We are continuing to audition entertainers and will have about 200 girls on hand when we open, along with waitresses and other staff. “

Rick’s Cabaret-NYC features wood paneled walls, marble bars and a sensuous color scheme, plush seating, luxurious private booths in the VIP suite, a state-of-the-art sound system and lighting, and a private elevator to whisk patrons between the floors. Along with outstanding wine and beverage service, it will feature a first class restaurant that will be open until 4 a.m. daily.
